Moose, Deer, & Elk Wildlife Wall Art
Moose, deer, and elk show up in a lot of wildlife photography. Getting close enough to photograph real behaviour in real light, in the field, is another matter. Eric has spent over 25 years working the same territories in British Columbia and the Canadian Rockies, returning season after season until the animals stop noticing him. Imagine a bull moose chest-deep in a northern lake at first light, a white-tailed deer stopped in October fog, or a bull elk mid-bugle with breath hanging in the cold air. These are the moments Eric waits for, and they can now hang on your wall. Whether you're looking for moose wall art, a white-tailed deer canvas print, or an elk wildlife print, each image is available in three formats: HD metal prints, canvas prints, and fine art paper prints. HD metal is the most popular for larger pieces; the depth and contrast suit big animals in dramatic light. Fine art prints are signed by Eric. Every image was photographed by Eric personally, in the wild.
Bull Moose in the Canadian Rockies—
For three long hours, the Wildlifer stood in the deep Canadian snow, the cold biting at his skin, but his focus unwavering. Patience became his companion as the hours ticked by, watching the giant bull moose curled up in the snow, his massive body resting peacefully in the quiet of the forest.
He didn’t rush, his movements slow and deliberate, trusting in the patience required to capture such a moment in the wild. Then, finally, the giant stirred. Slowly, deliberately, the moose raised his head.. The bull moose, with a great effort, stood up, his massive frame rising into full view.
The Wildlifers years of experience, patience and respect in the field had led to this enormous encounter.

The caribou stands alert, its dark eyes reflecting the inherent caution of a creature attuned to the subtleties of its lichen-rich habitat. Surrounding it, expanses of peatlands stretch out, interspersed with coniferous forests that provide a sanctuary from both the elements and potential threats. The muskeg underfoot, with its spongy texture, absorbs the echoes of the wilderness, allowing this majestic animal to navigate its world with stealth.
The sky overhead looms in various shades of grey, casting a muted light that envelops the landscape in a quiet stillness. The caribou’s strong, sturdy physique hints at the resilience required to thrive in such diverse terrains. With each small movement, it reassesses the environment, ensuring safety before it ventures further into the realm of its wild existence.

Elk in the Fall months are a majestic sight. This bugling Bull Elk is making it well known to competitors that this is his territory and the herd of females belongs to him alone. Of course, that is always subject to dispute in the wild. Dominance and superiority are always up for challenging.

A massive 9×8 Bull Elk
As you move quietly through the woods, every step careful to avoid the crunch of leaves underfoot, the distant sound of branches cracking and hooves shifting in the brush catches your attention. There he is, standing tall and proud at the edge of a small clearing. His antlers are wide and sweeping, a crown of bone, crowned with the wear of the rutting season. It’s his breath and eyes, not just the rack that captures your attention.
It’s then and without warning, the bull elk throws his head back and releases a powerful bugle. His breath explodes in a thick cloud of mist, rising in the frigid air. The cold seems to freeze the very breath in his chest, and it spills out in a visible puff, like a ghostly fog.
One just stands there, motionless, absorbing the full power of the moment—the wild, untamed energy of the rutting season, the call of a bull elk in his prime.

-
Each image comes in three formats: HD metal prints, canvas prints, and fine art paper prints. Metal is the most popular choice for larger moose wall art pieces, since the finish holds contrast and detail well. Canvas gives a softer, more traditional look for a living room or cabin. Fine art paper prints are signed by Eric and suited to framing.
-
Sizes vary by image, and most are available from smaller desk or shelf formats (11×14) up to large-scale canvas prints suited to a main wall (60×40) . Available sizes are listed on each individual product page.
-
It comes down to the room and the image. Metal prints suit dramatic scenes, like a elk bugling in rut, since the surface brings out contrast. Canvas prints work well in spaces where a softer, gallery feel is wanted. Both are built for long-term wall display in a home, cabin, lodge, or office.

Deep in the woods, a yearling moose calf cautiously approached the towering figure of a bull moose. The air was thick with the scent of pine and damp earth, as the calf moved closer, curiosity guiding its steps.
The bull moose stood tall, his massive antlers a formidable sight, like ancient branches reaching for the sky. The calf sniffed the air, then the antlers drawn in by the rich, earthy aroma of its potential father. Is this Dad? The instinctive pull towards the giant, with his dark, shaggy coat and antler filled snow.
With each cautious step, the calf examined the bull, searching for a familiar sign, a gesture, anything that could confirm this feeling of kinship. The bull remained still, his great antlers towering above, unyielding and regal.
