The Wildlifer, instinctively lowers his body to blend in with the surroundings. The moose’s presence is overwhelming, his sheer size dwarfing everything around him. His fur is thick and wild, his neck swollen with testosterone, his eyes focused and intense. As he moves forward with blood shot eyes, he lets out another deep grunt, low and powerful, a sound that the Wildlifer looks forward to each year.

The Wildlifer knows better than to make a sound, feeling the weight of the moment settle over him—this is a wild creature at the peak of his power, in the midst of one of nature’s most primal rituals.
