The Crossing - Coastal Wolf
We call him “The Keeper”. The alpha male of a coastal wolf pack. Keeper was encountered in the Khutzeymateen/K’tzim-A-Deen Grizzly Sanctuary, located in the North Coast region of British Columbia.
The Wildlifer spent a few days with The keeper and his female partner as they traversed the shoreline of the Khutzeymateen Inlet for over 16km. Confident yet cautious, he crosses a creek that exposes him from the safety of the the forest.
The clarity in this photograph is exceptional. It comes alive in print and you will live the moment of the encounter as though you were right there with Eric, “The Wildlifer”.
