Coastal Wolf Two Paws
Eric was privileged to spend a few days with this Coastal Wolf and her mate in the Khutzeymateen/K’tzim-A-Deen Grizzly Sanctuary in the Spring of 2022. So few are able to experience seeing these magnificent survivors. Coastal wolves in this remote region are not often observed.
In this photograph, “Khutzey” is navigating a creek crossing during her 16+km journey . She elected to carefully walk down a fallen tree, take a cautious look around and then traverse the creek. For those, like Eric, that feel the connection to the ‘wolf’, perhaps as their spirit animal, this photograph is one of a kind.
