Keeper of the Rainforest - Coastal Wolf

from $99.00

The Wildlifer calls him “The keeper”. The alpha male of a coastal wolf pack. He was encountered in the Khutzeymateen/K’tzim-A-Deen Grizzly Sanctuary, located in the North Coast region of British Columbia. The Wildlifer was equipped with several cameras, a long lens, a life jacket and, of course……spectacular subject matter!

The Wildlifer spent a few days tracking “The Keeper” as this alfa stayed in the safety of the forest. Wildlifer watched his female partner which was out in the open as they traversed the shoreline of the Khutzeymateen Inlet for over 16km. Confident yet cautious, after 3 days he crosses a creek that exposes him from the cover of the forest.

The clarity in this photograph is exceptional. It comes alive in print and you will live the moment of the encounter as though you were right there with Eric, “The Wildlifer”.
